The Pet Adoption League - Success Stories:
In October 2003 we placed a dog in a new home for Pauline, who could no longer keep Mandee. She wrote a note back saying:
Thank you for being there for all those "little critters" who can only talk to us with their waggy tails, with eyes that sparkle or cry, or a warm and wet kiss with their tongues!
These dogs and cats are people too. They are just much simpler folks, but they get happy and sad, frightened and content, hungry and full, much like their human companions. It's a pleasure for all of us to bring happiness and security to as many of these fuzzy folks as we can.
