The Pet Adoption League is dedicated to finding loving homes for homeless animals. We will attempt to help in any way, but we specialize in adoption of adult dogs, special needs animals, and those who have been orphaned due to owner's death or illness. We are a "no kill" organization. What this means is that we do not order the euthanizing of animals just because they are difficult to adopt quickly. Dogs and cats will remain in our program, in some cases for extended periods of time, awaiting the right forever home.
If you would like to meet some of the animals available for adoption, there are several ways to begin. Often the easiest way to start is to come and visit the PetsMart store located in Tulsa on 71st Street just west of the Mingo Valley Expressway (Hwy 169). Volunteers are there every Friday afternoon from 11:00 AM till 4:30 PM with animals you can meet.
There are also volunteers at the same PetsMart store located in Tulsa on 71st Street on alternate Saturdays from 11:00 AM till 5:00 PM.

"First Annual Golf Tournament" at the Clary Fields Golf Club. The Pet Adoption League charity golf event will be held on Sunday, 31 May 2009. The Clary Fields Golf Club is located at 9999 South 49th West Avenue in Sapulpa, OK. This is a lovely gold course located just minutes from downtown Tulsa. They have a 6704 yard, par 71 golf course.

The next Saturday dog showing scheduled is on 30 May 2009. We will show Saturdays every two weeks after that.

Occasionally other locations host volunteers with animals too. In order to find out about when and where you can meet the animals, please call 918-365-8725. You will be able to inquire about specific animals, and you may also be able to make arrangements to meet with animals in their foster homes or at veterinarian's offices where they may be staying.

When you view the pets in the Animal Gallery, you will frequently find a contact name, phone number, and email address specifically for that animal along with the other information provided. If you want more information about a particular animal, please call that contact; they will probably know more than anybody else you can talk to.
